Australian shelters and pounds are the biggest documented killers of dogs and cats.

There is an existing and result driven solution to killing healthy, trainable and treatable dogs and cats. It is called the No Kill programs and services. It exists in over 90 communities in the United States, one here in Australia and one in New Zealand.

This video tells you the story of how SPCA began and how they lost their way after the Founder died. Today, the No Kill programs and services are returning animal shelters back to its roots, with a focus on life saving, cost effectiveness, public health and safety and community compassion.
